Mayor of London Low Carbon Prize 2012

Every move is a chance to change, a fresh start ...

The idea is to help the 250,000 household moves in London that happen annually by giving new residents an electronic key that has information on local services and ideas of how to live more sustainably. This includes details such as where, how and when local recycling services operate, along with tips on energy efficient appliances and how to support the local economy.

Working on this project has been a learning experience for all of us. It is not at all easy to be green, and to put into practice a real world project where so many aspects need to be considered. These include the interests of all stakeholders involved (London Greater Authority, the sponsor Berkeley Homes and Kingston University), multidisciplinary professionals and daily work/study routines.
